My research is broadly focused on team performance and group dynamics. My published research papers have examined the effect of personality composition on team performance, the utility of training to improve teamwork in medical trauma teams, and the differences in teamwork processes between different team types. Some of my current research projects further explore these topics, but other projects are investigating team virtuality (or the extent that teams interact virtually), emergent team emotional and motivational states, and the interplay of leadership and followership roles in producing group-level phenomena.
