Fillenworth, Michael
Biography
Michael Fillenworth started his healthcare career in 1986 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist working for Butterworth Hospital specializing in pediatric and neonatal critical care. He also served as an ECMO technician, air flight, and ground transportation team member. In 1997, he was accepted into the Central Michigan University Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 1999. Mr. Fillenworth has served as a Physician Assistant for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and for Medical Arts Pediatrics and the Ready Care clinic at McLaren Central Michigan. In 2002, he joined Central Michigan University as an Adjunct Professor, completing clinical site visits for the Physician Assistant Program. Currently, Michael is an assistant professor primarily serving as the course director for clinical problem-solving classes. He also provides ringside medical care for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Bellator and Fox Sports Net (FSN) boxing.
