Biography
Dr. Neli Ragina is an Associate Professor and Director of Students and Residents Clinical Research. She is a Geneticist by training with excellent acumen of regulatory science, research compliance, clinical trials, and translational investigations. She oversees students and residents research at all clinical sites and the CMU global campus and provides leadership in clinical, biomedical, and translational investigations . In 2016 Dr. Ragina established the students’ population health research lab. Dr. Ragina’s translational research interest is on epigenetics and her population health research interest focuses on behavior health, social determinate of health and opioid use during pregnancy. Dr. Ragina also teaches throughout the curriculum, both for medical students (Y1-Y4) and Residents, in the area of epidemiology, research compliance, reproduction, genetics and cancer.
