Biography

Stephanie A. Richards, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an associate professor at Central Michigan University. She currently teaches a course in research design and serves as the undergraduate academic advisor for all CSD majors and minors.  Her areas of clinical and research interest include assessment and treatment of spoken and written language disorders in adolescents and young adults.  Additional research interests include issues related to program assessment and graduate admissions.

Dr. Richards has research interests in the areas of language and literacy in adolescents and young adults, program assessment, and admissions processes. She has also conducted research related to the effects of disability simulations on the knowledge and perspectives of undergraduate students.
