Hutchison, Sydney

Biography

From a young age, Sydney has had a passion for international education and cultural exchange. Her first time abroad was as an exchange student in Marseille, France in May 2010, and this experience played a huge role in shaping the trajectory of her life.

Sydney graduated with honors from Central Michigan University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural and Global Studies with a European Studies certificate and Journalism: Public Relations Concentration. During her time at CMU, Sydney studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic for a semester. After graduation, Sydney spent one and a half years in Valenciennes, France with the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) working with English classes in two French high schools. Sydney joined the Office of Study Abroad in January 2024 upon her return from France.
