Biography

Born and raised in Fremont, Michigan, Tom Kozal started his career at a Catholic school teaching Pre-k-8th grade physical education.  From there, he has taught in four other school districts in the areas of honors academics, physical education, school health, and special education.  Mr. Kozal was also a tribal relations enrollment advisor for the University of Phoenix. which allowed him to connect Native American students throughout the United States to education.  Tom Kozal has been with Central Michigan for the last 8 years while working in the Mount Pleasant School system as a behavioral interventionist and special education teacher.
