As a working professional, it is very difficult to find a program that allows online flexibility while providing skills-based content in order to receive a K-12 health and physical education (HPE) teaching endorsement. Our HPE graduate certificate provides both with the working professional in mind.
Each course in the program has a specific focus to fully prepare you to be a highly effective teacher to induce behavioral change in K-12 students to improve their health and well-being for a lifetime while also equipping you to pass the needed state certification tests in the subject matter content areas. The program also has a 30–50-hour clinical experience to allow you to get the needed practice to feel competent as you transition to your own health and/or physical education classroom.
