This 16-credit-hour certificate program is open to students in any major and to non-degree-seeking students who are interested in this area of global studies.
In your East Asian studies, you’ll explore centuries of Japanese and Chinese history. You’ll immerse yourself in the religious traditions and political systems of East Asian nations. You’ll take a deep dive into the issues and challenges facing East Asia today. And you’ll build the cross-cultural skills and perspectives that prepare you to thrive in careers in the United States or abroad.
