Thorpe Hall

Welcome to Thorpe Hall

Thorpe Hall, part of our South Community, offers four-person suite-style living with two bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a common area for studying or relaxing with friends. Centrally located, Thorpe Hall keeps you connected to both academics and campus activities. It is also home to the Honors Program Residential Community, providing additional opportunities for collaboration among honors students. South Community halls, including Thorpe, close during Thanksgiving, semester and spring breaks. For housing during these periods, consider options in the East Community, which remains open during breaks.

Cost per semester* $3,139.00

*Please note that this rate covers housing only. Students are also required to select a meal plan, which will determine the total cost of housing and dining for the semester. Room rates for the 2025-2026 academic year will be announced after the CMU Board of Trustees approves them in the spring of 2025. Stay tuned for updates on next year’s rates and meal plans.
