Troutman Hall

Welcome to Troutman Hall

Troutman Hall, part of our Towers Community, provides two-person layouts with a shared bedroom, a shared bathroom and a common area for studying or relaxing with friends.

Positioned near key campus facilities, Troutman Hall keeps you connected to academics and student life. Towers Community halls, including Troutman, close during Thanksgiving, semester and spring breaks. For housing during these periods, consider options in the East Community, which remains open during breaks.

Cost per semester* $3,247.00

Troutman Hall is also home to the Multicultural Advancement and Cofer Scholarship Residential Community (MACRC), which offers a unique living-learning experience for scholarship recipients committed to enhancing diversity.

MACRC cost per semester* $3,139.00
*Please note that these rates cover housing only. Students are also required to select a meal plan, which will determine the total cost of housing and dining for the semester. Room rates for the 2025-2026 academic year will be announced after the CMU Board of Trustees approves them in the spring of 2025. Stay tuned for updates on next year’s rates and meal plans.
