Leadership Safari is one of our greatest traditions. This three-day guided experience is designed to help new students learn about Central Michigan University, leadership, and themselves. Participants are placed in small groups of approximately 10 students led by student facilitators referred to as Safari Guides. Guides, along with other staff members, accompany participants through various experiences such as team builders, leadership activities and campus resource exploration. Open to all first-year students, including transfer students, this program is the perfect way to start your CMU journey.

Leadership Safari is a three-day experience and will take place August 20-22, 2024. Move-in for Leadership Safari participants and a program welcome will be Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
